I'm a Canadian-Egyptian writer, director, producer and assistant director based in Toronto. My filmmaking life began the moment I learned how to use Windows Movie Maker. I began directing live-action films at age 17, and I've been working in film and TV ever since.

To date, I've directed 17 short films and 1 music video, garnering numerous awards and nominations. My no-budget sci-fi film My Girl, Skelly (2021) has been screened at 12 film festivals around the world and is the recipient of 4 awards, including the Audience Award and Jury Award at The Great Canadian Sci-Fi Film Festival 2021, and the award for Best Student Film at Toronto Film Magazine Fest 2021.

In December 2025, I was selected as one of 50 international filmmakers to participate in the Werner Herzog Azores Filmmaking Workshop in São Miguel, Portugal.

I've worked as an assistant director and other roles on a variety of productions including feature films, short films, television, music videos and commercials at the indie and studio level.
